Irrigation

At Toogimbie, the Nari Nari people use irrigated farmland to support sustainable agriculture while maintaining environmental conservation. They implement sustainable farming practices that balance food production with the  reservation of natural habitats. This includes using environmental flows to manage water resources effectively, ensuring that both crops and wildlife benefit from the irrigation systems.

By integrating traditional knowledge with modern technology, they create a harmonious system that supports their community's needs and protects the land for future generations.

Nari Nari Tribal Council owns and manages irrigated farmland, under the regenerative agriculture philosophy.
